Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Halstead Studio, a service of Halstead Systems ("Halstead Studio," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Halstead Studio page at halsteadsystems.com/studio (the "Site") and the video and content services we provide. By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in a few ways:
- Information you provide. When you book a call or engage our services, you may give us your name, email address, business name, and a chosen time, along with your website, your logo, product photos, and any brand details you share so we can make your content.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure may log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and schedule and conduct calls;
- Make and deliver your samples and finished pieces;
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
- Send you information related to your project or a request you have made; and
- Comply with our legal obligations.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site aims to keep tracking to a minimum. Some cookies or similar technologies may be set by the third-party services we rely on, such as web fonts and the tool used to schedule calls. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them should not prevent you from reading the Site.
4. Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Site and produce your content, which may process limited information on our behalf:
- Scheduling. Calls are booked through a third-party scheduling tool that collects your name, email, and chosen time.
- AI content tools. To produce your pieces, we may pass the materials and brief you give us to the AI tools we use to generate footage and animation.
- Web fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those files.
- Hosting. The Site is served by a third-party hosting provider that may log technical request data.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers described above, as needed to perform the services you request, or where required by law or to protect our rights. The materials you send us are used only to produce your content and are not disclosed to others except as agreed with you or required by law.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information and the materials you provide only for as long as needed to deliver your content, maintain our business records, or meet legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Tell us if you would like your source materials removed after a project ends.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, email us at support@halsteadsystems.com, and we will respond as required by applicable law. You can also opt out of project-related emails by letting us know.
9. Children's privacy
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International users
Halstead Studio is based in the United States, and information we collect is processed there. If you access the Site from another country, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
